The town's streets epitomize this unique heritage, with names such as Easy Street, Tranquil Trail, Ho & Hum Roads, as well as Stagecoach, Long Rifle and Bloody Basin. However, Cave Creek retains a distinctive character, and a spirit of warmth, practicality and civic-mindedness that residents both old and new embrace.

  • Paradise Valley

Paradise Valley, AZ is located in Maricopa County and has a population of over 15,000. Paradise Valley has relatively smaller numbers of residents and square mileage than many other communities in the Phoenix-Scottsdale area, but it boasts many of the area's most famous resorts - 12 in all, and is home to some of the most expensive real estate in the country, with a median home price of nearly 2 million dollars. Paradise Valley is often confused with a village in northeast Phoenix of the same name, but residents of the area attend schools in the Scottsdale Unified School District, and identify with Scottsdale moreso than with Phoenix.

It is located on the slope of the McDowell Mountains overlooking the Phoenix-Scottsdale area. The mountain range is a natural barrier between the community and the rest of the area, giving it a relatively remote feel, despite its location near all the amenities of the area. Fountain Hills makes the most of the natural assets of the area, and offers both public and private recreational opportunities for hiking and biking mountain trails, boating and of course, golf, with some of the most challenging and beautiful courses in the area.

  • Phoenix

Phoenix is the capital of the State of Arizona, and the county seat of Maricopa County. It is the cultural, business and political center for Arizona and the hub for everyday life in the entire Phoenix-Scottsdale metropolitan area. Phoenix was incorporated as a city in 1881, and is now the sixth largest city in the United States, with an estimated population of over 1.5 million residents within city limits, and over 4 million residents in the metropolitan area. The city's population and footprint is projected to continue to grow for the next several years, creating both opportunity for home buyers, home sellers and real estate investors, but also concerns over sustainable growth and quality of life. Phoenix's city government has been proactive in developing plans to effectively manage growth while preserving the area's natural treasures, and distinct Southwestern identity.

  • Chandler

Chandler is a city of over 240,000 residents located in the near SouthWest of the Phoenix-Scottsdale Metropolitan area. Originally founded in 1912, Chandler is the home of the historic Hotel San Marcos, and the first golf course in the state. It personifies the dramatic growth in population of the region, growing a small resort community of only 3,000 in 1950, to 30,000 in 1980 to over eight times that figure today. Chandler city government has managed this growth effectively, providing substantial city, recreational and educational services to its citizens. Today, Chandler serves as the home of several large corporations and is a centerpiece of the "Silicon Desert". While many residents live and work in Chandler itself, its location within the Phoenix-Scottsdale transportation network, and high quality of life, makes it a favorite choice for homes for downtown commuters.
